B12 shots can help people who have trouble absorbing B12 from food, including those with pernicious anemia, a history of weight-loss surgery, or long-term use of certain medications such as metformin.

Your provider can check your B12 level with a simple blood test in our on-site lab and set up a schedule of injections if you need them.

For some bacterial infections, an antibiotic injection starts working faster than pills or is the recommended treatment. Your provider will examine you and decide whether an injection is right for your infection.
