DOT & CDL Physicals in Raymondville, TX

Commercial drivers across Willacy County and the Rio Grande Valley need a current DOT medical certificate to stay on the road. Our DOT physicals follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements and are performed by a certified medical examiner listed on the FMCSA National Registry.

Walk in or schedule ahead — evenings and Saturdays included.

What to bring

• Your driver's license
• Glasses, contact lenses or hearing aids if you use them
• A list of your medications and doses
• Records for ongoing conditions — for example a recent A1C for diabetes, a CPAP compliance report for sleep apnea, or a clearance letter from your cardiologist

What the exam covers

• Vision and hearing screening
• Blood pressure and pulse
• Urinalysis (a screening for protein, blood and sugar — not a drug test)
• A physical exam and review of your health history

If you meet the standards, you leave with your Medical Examiner's Certificate, valid for up to 24 months. Drivers with conditions that need monitoring may receive a shorter certificate.
