Flu, Strep & COVID-19 Testing in Raymondville

Fever, sore throat, cough and body aches can come from several different infections — and the right treatment depends on which one you have. We test for influenza, strep throat and COVID-19 on site, and you see a provider during the same visit.

When to get tested

• Fever, chills or body aches
• Sore throat, especially with fever or swollen glands
• New cough, congestion or loss of taste or smell
• You were exposed to someone who tested positive

Why testing early matters

• Flu: antiviral medicine works best when started within 48 hours of symptoms.
• Strep throat: a bacterial infection that needs antibiotics to clear and to prevent complications.
• COVID-19: a positive result helps you protect family members and may make you eligible for treatment if you are at higher risk.

How it works

A quick nose or throat swab is all it takes. Rapid results are usually ready before you leave, and your provider can start treatment and give you a work or school note if you need one.
